Dynament is part of Process Sensing Technologies, offering an extensive range of nondispersive infrared gas sensors for the monitoring and measurement of hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and refrigerant gases.
We design and manufacture gas sensors using patented infrared (IR) gas sensing technology. The sensors are typically integrated into Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) gas monitoring and detection products.
The company was formed in 2001 by bringing together individuals with a wealth of knowledge and long-term experience in the design, production and application of infrared gas sensors. During this time, we have established ourselves as the major supplier of miniature NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) sensors to gas detection Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) worldwide. We have developed a range of IR sensors which measure the following gases:
Our innovative approach to design and manufacture includes UK, US and European patents for our Standard and Platinum sensors. The Platinum range of sensors were the first available worldwide to contain all the necessary optics, electronics and firmware to provide a linearised, temperature compensated output used to directly replace pellistors in an industry standard size package.
Continued product development has led to the introduction of the Platinum Single and Dual-Gas sensor series, along with Axiom sensor series. Low power versions of these sensors have recently been introduced and the company also has EN50271 and SIL 1 SIRA Certified versions of the Platinum series.
Our industrial safety sensors are widely used across various markets including oil & gas, energy, medical, mining, industrial, transportation, agtech, building automation, HVAC and smart city applications.
Dynament manufactures infrared gas sensors that meet high-quality standards. Our sensors are designed and produced within ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification.
We have been awarded an 'A' rating by SGS Baseefa for our Quality Management System when assessed against EN ISO/IEC 80079-34:2011, which pertains to explosive atmospheres and the application of quality systems for equipment manufacturing. More information can be found in the ATEX Quality Assurance Notification Certificate (QAN).
We ensure the traceability of all materials throughout the manufacturing process. Certificates of Conformity are available upon request.
Reference calibration gases that are certified traceable to National Physical Laboratory Standards are utilized during the design, development, and manufacture of the company's sensors.
In order to meet the requirements of the European Directive 2014/34/EU relating to 'Equipment or Protective Systems or Components intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres' the company holds a Quality Assurance Notification which notifies that it has a quality system that complies with Article IV and VII of the above Directive.
